Dream Doors introduces time and cost-saving kitchen facelifts from showroom on Victoria Road.

The Stewarts performed well in their judging panel interview, standing up to intense scrutiny from some of the franchising industry’s leading luminaries, including Director General of the bfa Brian Smart, Head of Franchising at HSBC, Cathryn Hayes, and one-time Press Secretary to Margaret Thatcher – today president of the bfa – Sir Bernard Ingham.

Held at the Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square in London during the weekend of the British Franchise Exhibition, Dream Doors were also finalists in two further categories – ‘Best PR Campaign’ and ‘Best Website’. “After winning Brand Builder of the Year and a National Training Award, these complete the set and recognises the investment Dream Doors are putting back into supporting our franchised network,” says Managing Director, Troy Tappenden.
Dream Doors held its sixth annual conference at the Marriott Hotel in Portsmouth last week. The director general of the British Franchise Association, Brian Smart, attended the event to talk to franchisees about the development of the Portsmouth-based brand into a national franchise.

At a glittering awards ceremony, the team from Dream Doors were presented with their trophy by Colin Jackson sports commentator and former British hurdles champion. The National Training Awards celebrate businesses, organisations and individuals that achieve outstanding success through training and development. They are run by UK Skills on behalf of the Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills and are sponsored by City & Guilds. They are also supported by Investors in People.
Since winning Brand Builder of the Year at the Franchisor of the Year Awards in July, kitchen facelift franchise, Dream Doors, has been nominated for two further awards.
Dream Doors are ‘Express Newspapers Brand Builder of the Year’ in the British Franchise Association’s (bfa) 2008 Franchisor of the Year Awards.

Shortlisted for Best Advertisement and Best Recruitment Literature the kitchen door replacement franchise were awarded a special commendation in the second category. “The judges would like to recognise Dream Doors with a special commendation, as they were impressed with the straight forwardand honest approach taken.”
If the press are to have their way, the UK will slip from credit crunch, through recession, to a full on depression. In times of doom and gloom it is refreshing to hear of businesses that are growing and succeeding where others struggle. Dream Doors, the UK’s premier kitchen facelift company, are a beacon of hope and continue to celebrate record sales across the country.
